For year-end giving, remember the Kentucky Journalism Foundation

The Kentucky Journalism Foundation is a 501(C)3 non-profit arm of KPA. The foundation, formed back in the 1950s, has been awarding internships to college students since 1993. It’s been a very successful program for college students to get experience with a KPA member newspaper for up to 10 weeks each summer. The foundation awards 20 to 24 internships each summer.

It’s that time of the year when we all begin thinking about year-end gifts to charity.

Why not consider a gift this year to the Kentucky Journalism Foundation? For information about donating to KJF, please contact Bonnie Howard or me at 502-223-8821.

Remember, the KJF exists to help Kentucky newspapers and college students, so when you make that donation, you’re voting to help yourself and your colleagues around the state. The donation is fully tax-deductible.
