With some five weeks before the deadline to enter the 2020 KPA News and Advertising contests, 10 newspapers have registered and one has submitted entries.
Gaye Bencini at the Hickman County Times was the first to submit, and for pay, entries in the contest.
The 10 papers who have registered are The Bridge/Somerset Community College; Kentucky New Era, Hopkinsville; Corbin News Journal; Hickman County Times; Todd County Standard, Kentucky Kernel/University of Kentucky; Springfield Sun; Lebanon Enterprise; Kentucky Standard; and Forward Kentucky/Louisville.
The deadline to submit entries is Friday, October 16. But to submit entries you have to register first. Doing so gets you access to the rules, categories and both contests. Eligible entries are from any issue published between October 1, 2019, and September 30, 2020l
