Change to Daylight Savings Time on November 6 comes with a big downside

fall-back-on-timeIt’s almost that time of the year again, the “time” we change the time. Sunday, November 6 at 2 a.m. is when all clocks in Kentucky will “fall back” one hour. Remind your readers of that event and probably best to set your clock back an hour when you go to bed. Surely no one wakes up at 2 a.m. on purpose to set the time back an hour.

There is a big downside to setting the clocks back. Yes, I know, farmers hate the change because livestock seem to take a while to recover.

But the much bigger problem is the extra hour it’s going to give political candidates — think especially of those two running for President — more time of wasteful rhetoric. The election season has overstayed its welcome.
