Distracted Driving Awareness Month — let’s hope people take notice

With nearly 60,000 crashes and 192 fatalities in 2016 caused by distracted driving, Gov. Matt Bevin is again drawing attention to the seriousness of the issue by proclaiming April as Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

Telling you about this proclamation by the Governor gives me a chance to resend an article by Karla Ward with the Lexington Herald-Leader that appeared last April, when the same month was proclaimed.
