Jeff Jobe named to KET Authority Board by Governor Bevin

This was breaking news late last week and I put it on the KPA Facebook Page. The story made it through the week with 8,284 People Reached, one of the highest numbers we’ve had on a KPA Facebook post.

Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Jeff Jobe

Jeffrey Scott Jobe has been appointed to the Kentucky Authority for Educational Television.

Jeffrey Scott Jobe, of Glasgow, is the owner of Jobe Publishing. Jobe shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2018. Jeff is also a member of the Kentucky Press Association Board of Directors.

The Kentucky Authority for Educational Television consists of nine members, five of whom are appointed by the governor. The remaining four members include the chief state school officer, a representative of the Department of Education, a representative of the University of Kentucky and a representative of the state universities. The Authority was established in 1962 to govern and operate Kentucky Educational Television (KET), the largest PBS network in the nation.
