The Kentucky Humanities Council began a month-long road trip last night with its ‘Democracy and the Informed Citizen’ at Northern Kentucky University. Each session includes a journalist and a public figure among the panelists.
September 18 – Market House Theatre, Paducah — Steve Wilson, The Paducah Sun, and the public figure is Judge Thomas. B. Russell
October 15 – Actors Theatre, Louisville — Al Cross, the Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues, and the public figure is former Gov. Steve Beshear
October 16 – Carrick Theatre, Transylvania University, Lexington — Linda Blackford, the Lexington Herald-Leader, and the public figure is Lexington Mayor Jim Gray
October 23 — Jody Richards Hall, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green — Ronnie Ellis, CNHI, and the public figure is State Representative Jody Richards
