The Kentucky High School Journalism Association, which is now operated by mass communication at Campbellsville University, has announced its annual contest for high schools.
Entries are due on Oct. 17. Rules have been posted at KHSJA.com and also emailed to all schools in the state.
Winners will be announced on Jan. 23 during the state KHSJA convention which will be part of the state KPA convention. Several workshops also will be presented during the convention.
It is also time for schools to renew memberships in KHSJA. Many newspapers and others sponsor high schools.
A yearly membership is $50. A membership form as well as the address to mail payment to can be found at KHSJA.com. Or you can just send a check for $50 for each school you are sponsoring to: KHSJA c/o Stan McKinney, Campbellsville University, UPO 897, 1 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky. Include your name, paper name or business and the names of the schools you are sponsoring.
