KHSJA looking for financial support from newspapers as it gets into the 2021-22 school year

From Stan McKinney, KHSJA Administrator

After a slow period because of Covid, the Kentucky High School Journalism Association is gearing up once more.

The association is managed by Campbellsville University. But it cannot exist without donations from various newspapers and individuals. A sponsorship is $100.

KHSJA is putting together a new website, preparing for an annual contest for high school students and preparing workshops for Jan. 20 during the Kentucky Press Association Winter Convention.

Your sponsorships are needed to make all of this possible.

Sponsorships may be sent to:

An invoice can be supplied if needed.

Many newspapers have sponsored various schools over the years. Merely state which schools you are sponsoring at $100 each and we will make certain that schools know of your sponsorship.

KHSJA also hopes that many newspapers will also serve as mentors for high school students. Today’s high school students will become college students and then journalists of tomorrow.
