KPI purchases Carlisle Weekly

Kentucky Publishing, Inc. Publisher Greg LeNeave has announced his newspaper group has purchased the Carlisle Weekly. The transaction was completed on Monday. The newspaper was previously owned by Dennis Richardson from Camden, Tenn., who owns Magic Valley Publishing.

The purchase allows KPI to operate both Carlisle County newspapers in two locations. The Carlisle County News will remain in Bardwell; while the Carlisle Weekly’s physical location will relocate to Highway 80 in Arlington. LeNeave said all in-county subscribers to the Carlisle Weekly will continue to receive their newspaper.

Ad rates will be the same as the ad rates for all KPI county newspapers.

Kentucky Publishing, Inc., currently operates 16 newspapers and covers a five-state region. In addition to the newspapers, KPI owns The Paducah Business Journal, the Senior Scene/Tourism publication and the Farmers’ Quarterly, all publications can be found online at LeNeave said he is excited to extend news coverage and special interest articles for the residents and businesses of Carlisle County.
