Bryan Marshall, editor of the Grant County News, has been named general manager of the Landmark weekly after serving the last 18 months as interim.
He was named editor in April, 2016, and then assumed the interim manager title when Jamie Baker-Nantz resigned as general manager to accept another position. Bryan has nearly 15 years of newspaper experience after graduating from UK in May, 2002, with a double major in journalism and English.
He began his career as a reporter with the Richmond Register.
Under his leadership, the Grant County News has won numerous Kentucky Press Association and Landmark Community Newspapers Inc., awards, including a third place in General Excellence in the 2016 KPA contest.
