Most have interns selected for 2017 summer program

Most of the 20 Host Newspapers slated to get a 2017 KPA intern have finished the process and now are just waiting for the start date to get here for the 8 or 10-week internship period.

Danville Advocate Messenger – Shelby Brown, University of Louisville

Dawson Springs Progress – Katie Hess, Eastern Kentucky University

Elizabethtown News Enterprise – Allison Call, Western Kentucky University

Falmouth Outlook – Molly True, Northern Kentucky University

Kentucky Press Association – Corey Walls, Eastern Kentucky University

Kentucky Standard – Chris Mura, Indiana University/Bloomington

Madisonville Messenger – Jodi Camp, Western Kentucky University

Maysville Ledger Independent – Savannah Hemmer, Transylvania University

Oldham Era – Taylor Weiter, Eastern Kentucky University

Richmond Register – Kaitlyn Skovran, University of Kentucky
