As a new school year starts in our state, Kentucky newspapers again have the opportunity to sponsor their local high schools in the Kentucky High School Journalism Association. KPA established KHSJA 21 years ago to be an advocate for high school journalism in the state. And successful it has been with membership nearing 100 high schools most years. In fact, nearly every year about 70 percent of our high school members are sponsored by one or more local newspapers. The support of Kentucky newspapers for KHSJA is strong. And teachers across the state appreciate your support. KHSJA sponsors a statewide high school journalism contest, convention and more.
Membership is just $50 per school for the entire school year. And although you can send us a check, we also take credit cards, we can bill you or we can even deduct it from your next KPS advertising check.
Just click the link below to access the sponsorship form. You can fax the form to us at 502-226-3867. Be sure to call the school(s) you sponsor and let them know you’re sponsoring them in KHSJA. They will really appreciate it!
