The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri is offering an online, two-day workshop on data journalism and offering to any journalist, students included. The webinar is free but you do have to register.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to do data journalism in Observable, a fast, free, cutting-edge coding environment that has taken the web by storm.
We’ll also introduce you to Vega, a visualization grammar that makes it easy for anyone to produce a wide variety of brilliant interactive charts with live data.
Participants do NOT have to commit to watching the workshop both days. They may choose either day or both days if they wish.
