‘Zoom Café: Covering the Capitol: May You Live in Interesting Times’ discussion on Oct. 19

Editor’s Note: This Zoom Café event is sponsored by The Northern Kentucky Forum, which is a collaboration of NKU’s Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement, the Boone County Public Library, the Campbell County Public Library, the Kenton County Public Library, and the Associated Press.

Julie Pace is the Washington bureau chief for the Associated Press. Her job is always interesting – but 2020 has made it more so with an impeachment trial, a pandemic, an election and a Supreme Court confirmation battle. Quite a lineup of topics! It’s Ms. Pace’s job to get them all covered and covered well.

For the past 12 years, AP has supported an NKU lecture by one of its journalists. Pandemic restrictions have not halted that commitment – just adjusted it. Ms. Pace will be our guest via Zoom on Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The talk is free. RSVP requested. You will receive the Zoom link after you register. The public as well as our campus community is welcome.
